The fair has optimized the use of its halls and introduced a new product segment Carpets & Rugs, and with this, Heimtextil – the fair for home and contract textiles in Frankfurt – expects a multitude of international visitors and exhibitors.

Carpets & Rugs can be found in the new Hall 5.1, and among the products that will be exhibited are wall-to-wall carpets, handmade and custom-made rugs, machine-woven carpets, dirt-absorbing mats, runner carpets, and more.

Heimtextil has previously exhibited carpets in different halls, but with the introduction of the new segment, carpets will have a dedicated hall in 2024.

This decision by Heimtextil reflects the growing market demand. International buyers can now enjoy a consolidated and extensive display of products, including wall-to-wall carpets, providing them with an optimal overview. The segment specifically targets international wholesalers, specialized retailers, home improvement stores, as well as home decor and furniture shops.

By presenting carpets in a separate product segment, we are creating additional added value for relevant buyers. In the future, exhibitors of fitted carpets can be found bundled and centrally located in the new hall 5.1. The range of textile floor coverings will be optimally integrated into the existing textile environment at Heimtextil. The new area is already attracting great attention. The past months have been characterized by a variety of conversations with companies, potential visitors, associations, and publishers – we have received consistently positive feedback from all of them for our decision. Heimtextil in January 2024 serves as the launchpad for the new season, offering a wealth of interior design, trends, and inspiration.
